details of our next concert, which is presented by the Rotary Club of
Croydon.  The program will cover the whole musical spectrum from popular
classics to Welsh favourites, Broadway hits and famous songs of yesterday
and today.

 

Our guest soprano (winner of our 2006 Singer of the Year Competition)
Suzanne Shakespeare has recently won though to the finals of the Covent
Garden Award - Australia's most prestigious opera award which offers a
year's tuition in Europe and is valued at $100,000.

 

We look forward to the pleasure of your company on 14th April.

Dear Mr. Thomas, 
Thank you for the invitation to your Rotary concert on
14th April. It just so happens that, although I live
in (Old) South Wales, I will be in Melbourne that day.
I am a member of the Morriston Orpheus Choir, and we
will be performing in Melbourne on the afternoon of
that day. Unfortunately I have already made other
arrangements for the evening, otherwise my wife and I
would have been at your concert. We have very happy
memories of the warm reception given to us by your
choir in 2002. I hope all goes well.
